Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es la realización de un análisis estratégico de una empresa farmacéutica de Cantabria, Industrial Farmacéutica Cantabria, S.L (Cantabria Labs), para localizar puntos débiles en su negocio y poder plantear soluciones a estos problemas. Para dar cumplimiento a este objetivo se ha llevado a cabo, en primer lugar, un análisis del sector farmacéutico a nivel nacional y regional. Más específicamente, a partir de la información suministrada por SABI (Sistema de Balances Ibéricos) se ha analizado la evolución de las principales magnitudes del sector (como por ejemplo ingresos de explotación, importaciones-exportaciones, número de empleados, etc.). Tras la descripción de la relevancia del sector, se presenta la herramienta elegida para llevar a cabo el análisis de la empresa objeto de estudio, así como la metodología que hay que seguir para proceder de una forma adecuada a la investigación. En último lugar, mediante el uso de “El Lienzo Canvas” e información suministrada por fuentes primarias y secundarias se ha realizado un análisis exhaustivo de cada una de las partes del modelo. De esta forma se ha conseguido detectar una serie de modificaciones para la reformulación del modelo de negocio que sigue la organización. Estas acciones estratégicas permiten aprovechar las capacidades que posee Cantabria Labs, con el propósito de que se adapte a nuevas formas de darse a conocer y aproveche todo su potencial para incrementar su cuota de mercado y conseguir ser una empresa más competitiva.

ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is the realization of a strategic analysis of a pharmaceutical company in Cantabria, Industrial Pharmaceutical Cantabria, S.L (Cantabria Labs), in order to locate weaknesses in their business and to be able to propose solutions to these problems. To achieve this objective, firstly, an analysis of the pharmaceutical sector at the national and regional levels has been carried out. More specifically, from the information provided by SABI (Iberian Balance Sheet System) the evolution of the main magnitudes of the sector (such as operating income, imports-exports, number of employees, etc.) has been analyzed. After the description of the relevance of the sector, the tool chosen to carry out the analysis of the company under study will be presented, as well as the methodology that must be followed in order to proceed in an appropriate way to the research. Finally, through the use of "El Lienzo Canvas" and information provided by primary and secondary sources, an exhaustive analysis of each of the parts of the model has been carried out. In this way, it has been possible to detect a series of modifications for the reformulation of the business model that the organization follows. These strategic actions make it possible to take advantage of the capabilities that Cantabria Labs has, with the purpose of adapting to new ways of making itself known and taking advantage of its full potential to increase its market share and become a more competitive company.
