Abstract

Abstract: In the first part, with the analysis of financial we can see how the hotel group Sardinero reduces their solvency in the short-term. This is caused by an increase in funding sources, however due to the structure of their debt we can see that long-term debt is reduced, in this way it is easier for the group to complete all their payments. On the other hand economic profitability ratios continue to decline constantly although they are not a major cause for concern. Related to the external analysis we can see how the most important protagonist and cause for concern is the pandemic caused by Covid-19, by the rest the activity of the hotel sector is in a great moment with a lot of improvements related with the defense of the humans rights, pollution reductions and more awareness of preserving the environment. Also through external analysis we can see how are the relations with their provider and what is their bargaining power as well as the situation of their current competitors. Will also be analyzed what are their potential competitors which are growing in the market. On the other hand the internal analysis allows studying several factor such as: Working environment, price level, customer satisfaction. For this studying it is necessary use web sites like Booking or TripAdvisor where it can see the customer opinion about different services. The strategic diagnosis is composed of a positioning map with this tool it is possible now which hotels are competitors and which hotels have different prices level and do not be real competitors. In this diagnosis there is too matrix BCG whose finality is knowing the profitably of the different products that the three hotels offers. Finally the third component of the strategic diagnosis is the DAFO analysis, with this tool with can studying: threats, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. This studying make more easier find solutions for the different problems or elaborated new ideas for make more profit. In the last parte there are conclusions, where it can find the most important problems and how solve it. Also there are new ideas for the hotel Group Sardinero.
