Abstract

ABSTRACT: The present study analyzes using a real example how a social company, in this case the non-profit organization, Amica, contributes through its good practices to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the principles of the Global Compact and the articles of the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities. Previously, a study has been carried out on the connection of seventeen Sustainable Development Goals with the ten principles of the Global Compact and with the articles of the Convention in order to subsequently carry out an investigation on the good practices of the organization that comply with the requirements of each group. On the other hand, the measurement of social impact is very important, because it serves to the organization to achieve its objectives, as well as to raise awareness of the values and principles that Amica wants to transmit, that anyone is trained for the job’s development and integration in daily life through the support and precise training. For this reason, once Amica’s good practices have been defined, its social impact will be measured and quantified as far as possible using different indicators.
