Corrientes heterodoxas: economía marxista

Heterodox economics: marxist economics

Corrientes heterodoxas: economía marxista

Abstract

The economy is framed inside social sciences. It is understandable that it has many currents of thought, this enrichess and gives heterogeneity. It is true that in the last decade, that the intelectual hegemony is part of the neoclasic economy. Nowadays, it´s the ortodoxia. In science. While orthodoxy understands economics as an exact, rational and predictable science, heterodox currents have a broader conception of economics, since, being a science that studies the behavior of human beings, the tools that orthodoxy uses seem be insufficient, as has been well proven by the repeated crises that have occurred, the externalities produced by the current mode of production or the inequalities that have arisen from applying neoclassical and Keynesian ideas. The objective of this essay is to bring together one of the most developed heterodox currents since its conception. The Marxist economy has supposed a total rupture to the previously established ideas and its contributions have been crucial for the economic and philosophical knowledge even until today. This study will make it possible to bring together the main ideas on which the Marxist economy is based and to facilitate its understanding, relying mainly on the publication of the first volume of Capital.
