Authors: Londoño Giraldo, Luis Felipe;

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The quality of the spanish youth employment is one of the main topics in continuous debate given the mediocre results shown in recent years. They were compared to the European average results. The last economic recession had the biggest impact. In spite of this,we will analyze with informations from the best experts in this field,exactly, the quality of spanish young aged between 16 and 34 years. On the one hand, I will introduce the youth labor market during the crisis by alternating data and graphics where we can see the evolution of youth employability. In addition, I will analyze fully the youth labor market and its most relevant aspects in terms of the quality of its variables (salary, level of unemployment, evolution of hiring, type of hiring, emigration, among others). The main purpose of this thesis study is carrying a more exhaustive study of the labor market situation for young people. The most noteworthy results are decrease in quality of work of young population, increasing temporary types of the contracts, a delayed emancipation that was made by seasonality and low wages of the labor market, a greater rebound of underemployment, significant deterioration of certain groups with a lower level of training and reduction of jobs of young people in the public sector.
