ABSTRACT: The concept of work accident presents a huge casuistry that leads to a thorough analysis of each specific case to know whether or not we are facing an accident at work. If we consider that in certain occasions the limit that separates it is very fine, today we can say that jurisprudence has defined this limit more broadly, therefore, that an accident that has a worker as victim, is qualified as work or not, it is a necessary and essential issue since it will depend on access to the various economic benefits of social security as well as the responsibilities and impositions of penalties that result therefrom
