Conocimientos Ambientales como Patrimonio Natural y Cultural

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The main objective of the present work was focused on the research regarding the use that the human being has made, and does, of the plants that grow naturally in the environment. The changes that have taken place in society have led to the gradual disappearance of the knowledge acquired by an insufficient intergenerational transmission and the loss of the inheritance of time, which in turn implies a change in the relationship between the human being and the environment. that could affect the sustainability of natural environments in the long term. From the practical point of view, there is evidence in this field of a research effort on the part of pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and some other organization, although it is clear from the participation of a commercial interest, leaving aside any other intention of preserving natural or cultural knowledge, which on the other hand is the approach sought by this research work.
