PLE para el desarrollo profesional

PLE para el desarrollo profesional

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The main objective of this Project is to give basic guidelines to create and keep to date a PLE (Personal Learning Environment) by creating several PLEs focused on those workers who want to update their professional career as well as undergraduate students willing to improve their formal education. Firstly, we are going to highlight the importance of having a PLE, which is a way to understand education as an open, collaborative and active process based on the new digital platforms of the Web 2.0. This type of education is opposed to a more classical one in which teachers give the information to students in a unidirectional way, both in a traditional class or virtual classroom. Secondly, we are going to describe what a PLE is, its parts and characteristics explaining the differences between this concept and the other similar ones such us PLN and EVEA. Finally, we are going to explain the steps to make and design a PLE and be able to take advantage of it.
