Método alternativo para cuantificar el deterioro del papel de transformador envejecido en aceite mineral

Abstract

En la mayoría de los transformadores eléctricos de potencia se emplea papel dieléctrico como componente sólido del sistema de aislamiento, entre los conductores de devanado, el espacio entre devanados y el devanado a tierra. Los transformadores bañados en aceite normalmente tienen un rango de temperatura de funcionamiento de 60-90ºC. Estas temperaturas de servicio pueden causar la degradación lenta, tanto del aceite, como, del aislamiento sólido durante la vida útil del transformador con pérdida de las propiedades mecánicas y eléctricas. En este sentido, se plantea en este trabajo la posibilidad de analizar la degradación del papel en base a la pérdida de sus propiedades mecánicas. Se realizará un envejecimiento acelerado del papel en aceite mineral para temperaturas de 110, 130 y 150ºC hasta tiempos en los que se garantiza una degradación total del papel, con el objetivo de obtener información sobre la cinética de los procesos de envejecimiento. Se analiza la evolución de las propiedades mecánicas y de los mecanismos de rotura del papel en función de la temperatura y del tiempo de envejecimiento y se comparan los resultados obtenidos con el método tradicional de análisis, basado en la medida del grado de polimerización (DP) del papel.
