RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el padrón de habitantes de Torrelavega en el año 1925. Jornaleros, artesanos y comerciantes eran las opciones para llevar a cabo la investigación. Concretamente yo me he centrado en los comerciantes, de los cuales he obtenido a través del documento diferentes datos sobre ellos: Edad a la que llegaron, año en el que vinieron, nº de hijos, estado civil y lugar del que proceden, entre otros. El archivo principal de donde he obtenido la información es el padrón de Torrelavega del año 1925. Este documento se encuentra en muy buen estado, y a pesar de que en algunos momentos la letra es un poco ilegible, me ha permitido realizar correctamente mi trabajo. Además del padrón, también he accedido a diferentes páginas web y a libros para cumplimentar el trabajo correctamente.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to analyze the population pattern of Torrelavega in the year 1925. Day laborers, craftsmen and traders were the options to carry out the investigation. Specifically I have focused on the merchants, from whom I have obtained through the document different data about them: Age at which they arrived, year in which they came, number of children, marital status and place from which they come, among others. The main file from where I obtained the information is the standard of Torrelavega of the year 1925. This document is in very good condition, and although the letter is somewhat illegible at times, it has allowed me to correctly perform my work. In addition to the standard, I have also accessed different websites and books to complete the job correctly.
