Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo presenta una propuesta para desarrollar la competencia sociocultural en el aula de ELE a través de un recurso didáctico concreto: las canciones. Estas, gracias a su valor didáctico, sus beneficios a la hora de crear un ambiente de aprendizaje favorable y, especialmente, al componente sociocultural que portan y que será descrito en el trabajo, constituyen un recurso muy valioso para desarrollar las competencias socioculturales. Para presentar la propuesta, concretada en una serie de secuencias didácticas, en primer lugar, se determina el estado de la cuestión en cuanto a la importancia y presencia de los aspectos socioculturales en el aula de ELE y en los documentos de referencia. A continuación, se describen los beneficios de las canciones como herramientas didácticas y se analiza la explotación de las mismas en el desarrollo de la competencia sociocultural en manuales que actualmente están en el mercado. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que las canciones son un recurso que apenas está explotado en la clase de ELE y que además, no trabajan en profundidad la competencia sociocultural cuando se utilizan, desechando un recurso idóneo para su desarrollo. A la luz de estos resultados, se presentan una serie de secuencias didácticas para diferentes niveles que trabajan aspectos socioculturales a partir del trabajo con canciones.

ABSTRACT: This proyect shows a proposal for develop the sociolinguistic competence in second language classes throught songs. Song, contain a great didactic value, benefits when it comes to improve the classroom environment and an important cultural charge. That’s why song, are a great resource for teaching sociocultural competences. For this proposal, we are going to show some didactic sequences. First, we are going to determine the status about the importance and the presence of those sociocultural skills in the current manuals and reference documents. Then, we are going to describe the benefits of using songs as a didactic tool and analyze how manuals use them. Results shows that songs are not used a lot in second language teaching and that they don’t work with the sociociocultural competence at all. Wasting this great resource. We are going to show our purposal and show some didactic secuences.
