Procedimiento de inertización de lodos que contienen carga contaminante orgánica e inorgánica.

Abstract

Un procedimiento de inertización de residuos mezclados (de carácter orgánico e inorgánico) se realiza mediante el desarrollo de formulaciones de solidificación/estabilización (S/E), basados en la mezcla del residuo con aglomerantes hidráulicos, como cemento Portland y finos de recuperación de arenas de fundición, de carácter residual y, con la inclusión de pequeñas cantidades de aditivos específicos como: lignosulfonato cálcico magnésico, y carbón activo, de carácter comercial, y negro de humo y humo de sílice, de carácter residual. Los residuos estabilizados obtenidos de acuerdo a este procedimiento están caracterizados: por su manejabilidad; por su consistencia monolítica; por la reducción de volumen relativo respecto al residuo original; por su viabilidad económica y; por asegurar un impacto ambiental admisible en la gestión en vertederos (de acuerdo a las regulaciones en vigor). El procedimiento desarrollado es aplicable a residuos con potenciales contaminantes orgánicos e inorgánicos generados en sectores industriales tales como, siderurgia, textil, farmacéutico, fitosanitarios, etc.
