La Universidad EAN reconoce el derecho que se deriva de la propiedad intelectual dentro de su actividad y razón de ser; por ello, propende por su respeto y procura que todos los miembros de la institución den cumplimiento a la normatividad que regula el tema en particular, con el fin de favorecer la creatividad, la innovación, el emprendimiento, la transferencia de conocimiento y de tecnología, entre otros, obtenida en el desarrollo de su razón social y en beneficio final de la sociedad, mediante una adecuada apropiación social. El respeto a la propiedad intelectual en la Universidad EAN es una premisa aplicable frente a cualquier clase de producción, provenga de los miembros internos de la institución o de terceros, sin distinción alguna.

EAN University recognizes the right that derives from intellectual property within its activity and rationale; therefore, it tends to respect and seeks to ensure that all members of the institution comply with the regulations governing the particular issue, in order to promote creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, the transfer of knowledge and technology, among others, obtained in the development of its corporate name and in the final benefit of society, through appropriate social appropriation. The respect to the intellectual property in the EAN University is a premise applicable to any kind of production, coming from the internal members of the institution or from third parties, without any distinction.
