Dada la importancia social de la población geriátrica y su progresivo aumento, se consideró necesario realizar el presente trabajo, que pretende definir el direccionamiento estratégico de la Fundación Hogar para Ancianos San Vicente de Paúl de la Ciudad de Popayán, el cual permita el auto crecimiento y fortalecimiento de la institución, brindando servicios con calidad. A través del direccionamiento estratégico, se pretende que la organización cuente con la planeación, los planes operativos y su evaluación, que permita no solo el crecimiento administrativo, sino también el económico con la diversificación y ampliación de los servicios, generando impacto social y posicionándose en el sector.

Given the social importance of the geriatric population and its progressive increase, it was considered necessary to perform this work, which is intended to define the strategic direction of the Foundation for Nursing Home St Vincent de Paul in the city of Popayán, which allow self growth and strengthening the institution, providing quality services. Through the strategic direction, it is intended that the organization has the planning, operational planning and evaluation, which allows not only the administrative growth, but also with economic diversification and expansion of services, generating social impact and positioning in the sector.
