Abstract

From caused by globalization processes as improvements in communication and international cooperation, we have developed new methods of study such as virtual learning communities that allow students from around the world to get a bonus, before, during and after of their classroom activities, which allows them to obtain or consolidate all kinds of concepts related to one or more languages of study, and also it allows them to establish contact with native speakers or with increased knowledge of the target language. These tools are known within the educational field as virtual learning communities, a concept that has gradually taken all areas of knowledge, however, in this research we will focus on the impact on learning and interaction with one or more foreign languages. The most important contribution that this research will, is the analysis of virtual communities as a learning mechanism that helps its members identify and develop their own style of learning inside and outside the classroom, to develop the skills necessary to when learning a foreign language.
