Abstract

The increase in non-biodegradable waste from PVC banners used in urban campaigns and activities poses environmental and management challenges in Colombia (ECLAC, 2020; González et al., 2021). This project aims to diagnose and evaluate a transformation model for these banners by comparing models implemented in European and Latin American contexts. It is based on international frameworks (UN, 2015; EEA, 2022) and previous experiences in recycling (Martínez et al., 2022).
