The behaviors that determine the saver or debtor profile in individuals are directly related to quantitative and objective variables of economic nature, such as income, stratum, propensity to consume financial services, etc. Without underestimating the importance of these variables, it is of vital importance to establish the existence of an equally direct relationship with more subjective and psychological variables of the consumer, such as their perception of money, exposing people to information about financial products, the value that each person gives to the possession of money related to their income level, among others. This article seeks to identify which subjective and psychological variables have great influence on the saver or debtor profile of the EAN University students.
