Abstract

En el contexto de los pacientes domiciliarios en Popayán, Colombia, se plantea una investigación focalizada en la clasificación de trastornos del lenguaje asociados a accidente cerebrovascular (ACV). Dada la relevancia del ACV como la segunda causa de muerte y discapacidad a nivel mundial, se destaca la importancia de comprender y abordar específicamente las implicaciones lingüísticas en pacientes bajo terapia domiciliaria post-ACV. La investigación busca desarrollar un instrumento de clasificación que permita identificar de manera precisa y efectiva los trastornos del lenguaje en esta población. Se reconoce la necesidad de estrategias de rehabilitación personalizadas para mejorar la comunicación y la calidad de vida de los pacientes. La metodología implica una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura, priorizando fuentes en Scopus y WOS, con el objetivo de contribuir al grupo de Investigación en Salud (GIS) y la línea de Salud Colectiva en el ámbito de la ciencia, tecnología e innovación. Este proyecto se posiciona como una respuesta a la significativa incidencia del ACV en Colombia, específicamente en Popayán, donde se registró como una de las principales causas de mortalidad en el año 2021. La creación del instrumento de clasificación no solo aspira a ampliar conocimientos interdisciplinarios, sino también a ofrecer herramientas concretas para mejorar la atención y rehabilitación de los pacientes afectados, marcando así un avance en la comprensión y tratamiento de las secuelas lingüísticas derivadas del ACV.

In the context of home patients in Popayán, Colombia, proposes a research focused on the classification of language disorders associated with cerebrovascular accident (CVA). Given the relevance of stroke as the second cause of death and disability worldwide, the importance of understand and specifically address the linguistic implications in patients under post-stroke home therapy. The research seeks to develop a classification instrument that allows us to accurately and effectively identify language disorders in this population. The need for personalized rehabilitation strategies is recognized to improve communication and quality of life of patients. The methodology involves an exhaustive review of the literature, prioritizing sources in Scopus and WOS, with the aim of contributing to the Health Research group (GIS) and the line of Collective Health in the field of science, technology and innovation. This project is positioned as a response to the significant incidence of ACV in Colombia, specifically in Popayán, where it was registered as one of the main causes of mortality in 2021. The creation of the instrument of classification not only aims to expand interdisciplinary knowledge, but also to offer concrete tools to improve the care and rehabilitation of affected patients, thus marking progress in the understanding and treatment of linguistic sequelae derived from stroke
