Videojocs i agressivitat

Abstract

To carry it out, an ex-post-facto research methodology has been used, in which a battery of tests has been administered to a sample of 41 university students in order to explore what use of video games they make, as well as to evaluate their aggressive behavior. It has been observed that there is a direct positive correlation between the use of video games and aggression, in particular physical aggression, hostility and anger. It has also been observed that participants tend to play a type and modalities of video games that can encourage aggressive behavior, namely action video games with explicit content and competitive styles.
