Abstract

The following work aims to evaluate the relationship between spirituality and the quality of life of people between 20 and 65. In order to analyze this relationship, the QS Spiritifical questionnaire of Parsiann and Dunning (2008) and the WHOQOL-BREF (World Health Organization Quality of Life) questionnaire produced by the WHO (2004) has been applied to a sample of 96 people. Once the study has been completed, it has been noted that self-knowledge, the importance of spiritual beliefs, spiritual practices and spiritual needs, defined by Parsiann and Dunning (2009) as the four dimensions of spirituality, relate to two aspects of the quality of life defined by the WHO, which are psychological health and the environment. However, it has been noted that the sample has obtained moderate spirituality and that the age group with a higher quality of life has been 41–50 years.
