Abstract

This investigation analyses the conception about Elementary Education teachers in relation to the inclusion of children with visual disability inside the class, in Childhood and Elementary schools situated in Bages and Berguedà. The data has been gathered in a survey that nineteen teachers have answered anonymously. This has been done using the Index for Inclusion, written by Booth and Ainscow (2006), regarding the presence, the participation and the progress of the children. The results are based in a qualitative approach and show that teachers believe there are obstacles in learning that must be considered, especially related with the lack of education, materials and resources, but they think that they could give an appropriate response.
