Infermeria: guies per a una docència universitària amb perspectiva de gènere

Abstract

La Guia per a la incorporació de la perspectiva de gènere en els estudis d’Infermeria, realitzada per les professores de la Universitat de Barcelona M. Assumpta Rigol i Dolors Rodríguez, reflexiona sobre els efectes de la mirada androcèntrica en una disciplina la finalitat de la qual és “la cura”. Les Ciències de la Salut, en prendre com a patró de referència el cos i el sexe dels homes, ha determinat que la salut de les dones es troba en una situació desigual perquè obvia, entre d’altres, la morbiditat diferencial dels problemes de salut i les necessitats dissímils que presenten dones i homes en relació a aquesta. La perspectiva de gènere en Infermeria permet introduir una mirada crítica i analítica en la comprensió de la salut i en els processos de malaltia que viuen dones i homes.
