Mirades cap a la diversitat

Abstract

The advertising and the media determine, largely, many of the behaviours of the current contemporary society. Both communicative tools have a big power of influence at the time of showing some behaviours, attitudes and lifestyles that, because of his perpetuation, finish transforming in prejudices and stereotypes. In this way, advertising and media turn into diffusers and constructors of the collective imagination by means of the reproduction of images link to the ethnic, cultural, sexual and gender discrimination. In front of this situation, is necessary to educate and make aware of the new generations of the need of defending the social equality in the communication sphere. This final project of degree proposes the creation of a workshop about advertising sensitivity with the aim to generate knowledge and critical opinion into university students, in relation to the representation and participation of the diversity in the advertising.
