Abstract

Det er et stort fokus på velferdsteknologi i helse- og omsorgssektoren som gjør at vi stiller stadig høyere krav til løsningene og deres omfang. Rapporter publisert av Helsedirektoratet (2015b, 2016) viser at brukerne av avstandsoppfølgning så langt er fornøyde. Videre viser offentlige rapporter og fremtidsplaner av velferdsteknologi at fastleger ikke er blitt prioritert i første omgang. Derimot ytrer Helsedirektoratet (2015a) at de velferdsteknologiske løsningene med tiden må inkludere fastleger i større grad. I denne studien undersøkes det “hvordan designe og innføre informasjonsstøtte for fastleger?”, med et utgangspunkt i et informasjonsbehov fra pasienter med kreft, diabetes og overvekt. Forskningsspørsmålet besvares i to deler. Den første delen fokuserer på hvordan en mulig løsning må designes for å ta høyde for fastlegenes varierende behov av opplysninger og utforming. Den andre delen omhandler hvilke utfordringer løsningen må adressere for å komme et steg nærmere realisering. Empirien viser at fastlegene er spredt om det generelle informasjonsbehovet fra pasientgruppene, og rapportens utforming. For å håndtere den store variasjonen foreslår oppgaven og følge et design for fleksible standarder. Informantene er derimot enige om at løsningen må integreres i EPJ, være strukturert og tilgjengelig ved behov. I tillegg uttrykker de bekymringer rundt deres rolle som fastlege i et avstandsoppfølgning-scenario, samt ansvarfordelingen mellom de og andre nødvendige instanser. Disse bekymringene og kravene bør avklares tidlig for å kunne innføre løsningen. Rapportløsningen bør bygge på modularisering som muliggjør skalering, slik at løsningen kan vokse i størrelse og omfang, og reduserer risikoen for kompleksitet. En slik tilnærming gjør det mulig å gi hyppige leveranser og bygge på eksisterende løsninger.
