Abstract

I denne masteroppgaven har jeg undersøkt åndelige/religiøse/kristne tilbud/tiltak under soning av fengselsstraff. Jeg har sett nærmere på fengselspresttjenesten, klosterretreat og pilegrimsvandring, samt gjenopprettende prosesser eller restorative justice. Målet er å finne ut mer om hva som skiller disse tilbudene/tiltakene fra kriminalomsorgens øvrige rehabiliteringsarbeid, og om det i disse tiltakene ligger noe som kan bidra til positive endringsprosesser i de innsatte. Jeg har også sett nærmere på om disse tilbudene/tiltakene kan benyttes i et helhetlig soningsløp innenfor kriminalomsorgens rammer, og på hvordan de innsatte selv responderer på møtet med åndelighet/religiøsitet/kristendom under soning.
