Etablering av kvantitativ lekkasjemodell for dentale fyllingsteknikker og -materialer

Abstract

I oppgaven har vi etablert en fysisk modell for kvantitative tetthetsmålinger av dentale fyllingsmaterialer, og testet denne på utvalgte rotfyllingsmaterialer. Fokuset har vært på fremstillingen av denne modellen. Modellen er ferdig og vi har testet den på noen grupper med rotfylte tenner. Et gjennomgående problem er stor variasjon i test-resultater av likartede prøver. Det er derfor behov for bedre standardisering av metodene for ekstirpering- og rotfylling enn hva vi kunne utarbeide med vår tilgang på egnede test-tenner. Vi ser også at det er behov for mer avanserte avlesningsmekanismer. Vi kommer i denne oppgaven til å redegjøre for våre funn og betraktninger, som vi tror vil kunne bidra til at modellen benyttes videre i forskningsøyemed.
