Innføringen av de norske lovene på Island i perioden 1274-1319

Abstract

I 1274 fikk Magnus VI Håkonsson innført en landsdekkende lovbok i Norge, kalt Landsloven. Han ønsket også å innføre lignende lovbøker i skattlandene som var blitt underlagt den norske kronen i perioden før hans regjeringstid. I denne oppgaven ser jeg nærmere på hvordan dette ble gjort på Island i perioden mellom 1274 og 1319. Dette gjøres gjennom en grundig sammenligning av den norske Landsloven og Jónsbók, den islandske versjonen fra 1281.
