Hvilke utfordringer kan rektor møte i utvikling og ledelse av lærende organisasjoner

Abstract

Innenfor skolesektoren er det er mye fokus på lærende organisasjoner. Offentlige dokumenter vektlegger at skolen skal være en lærende organisasjon. Det blir også lagt vekt på at det skal være en tydelig og kraftfull leder i skolen. Skoleleder er den som skal legge til rette for at det skal skje utvikling i skolen. All utvikling skal gjenspeile elevens læringsutbytte. Oppgaven har søkelyset på hvilke utfordringer rektor kan møte som leder i utvikling av lærende organi-sasjon. Rektor skal ut fra styringsdokumenter legger til rette for ulike læringsforhold. For å belyse problemstillingen valgte jeg intervjue som metode, en kvalitativ tilnærming. Mitt ut-valg var to rektorer. Jeg ønsket å undersøke rektor som leder, ulike læringsforhold, styrings-dilemma og lojalitetsdilemmaet de stod ovenfor i en lærende organisasjon.
