A propósito de Piglia y la Weltliteratur: las traducciones en la construcción de las literaturas nacionales de América Latina

Abstract

Partiendo de la renovada vitalidad. de la Weltliteratur en los estudios literarios y la rehumanización de los estudios de traducción propuesta por A. Pym, nos acercamos a las ideas que sobre la traducción dejó diseminadas en sus novelas y ensayos Ricardo Piglia. Para el escritor argentino, hay una tradición de "malas traducciones" que condiciona el nacimiento y el desarrollo de la literatura argentina. Teniendo en cuenta el papel evangelizador y político de las traducciones durante la época de la colonia, tratamos de definir el rol de las traducciones en los albores de la modernidad de acuerdo a las ideas de Piglia y su cuestionamiento de misma idea de Weltliteratur.
