Abstract

El deporte cada vez más se transforma en un espectáculo, espectáculo que ofrecen los deportistas para nuestro consumo, en gran parte remunerado. Para adaptarse a esta tendencia, los equipos deportivos se ven obligados a organizarse en empresas, lo que conlleva disponer de una dirección para gestionar la estructura deportiva. La dirección es el manejo de la estrategia y su implantación en el ámbito deportivo. Los mejores directores deportivos luchan por adelantar a sus competidores mediante la Dirección Estratégica, el método que viene al deporte del mundo empresarial y viene para quedarse. Pero... ¿realmente todas las organizaciones deportivas se están adaptando al cambio? ¿realmente todos los directores deportivos están preparados para redirigir el entorno cambiante a su favor? El objetivo del presente trabajo es evaluar en qué grado se implementa la Dirección Estratégica en diferentes organizaciones de Almería. Para ello se han analizado 6 organizaciones deportivas de Almería entrevistando a los gerentes de dos empresas privadas, dos clubes deportivos y dos empresas públicas. Se ha observado que las empresas privadas son las que dan mayor importancia a la aplicación de nuevos sistemas de dirección.
