Efecto de iluminación LED sobre el prendimiento de esquejes de lavanda rizada

Abstract

Las lámparas de diodos emisores de luz (LED) son uno de los avances más importantes en iluminación artificial para la horticultura en las últimas décadas. El objetivo de este estudio fue el de comparar 4 espectros e intensidades de luz LED diferentes para encontrar la metodología ideal para el desarrollo de esquejes de L. dentata. El experimento de espectros se realizó usando como control una lámpara de luz blanca y 3 lámparas, para uso en agricultura, de diferentes espectros. El experimento de intensidades se realizó, usándose diferentes densidades de lámparas para conseguir la intensidad deseada en cada tratamiento. Ambos experimentos se realizaron en una cámara de ambiente controlado. Se midió los parámetros de iluminancia (Lux) e intensidad del flujo de fotones fotosintéticos (PPF). También fueron medidos peso seco y fresco, altura, eficiencia energético e índice de calidad de Dickson para comparar el crecimiento de las plantas. Se registró el mejor resultado en altura en el tratamiento con la lámpara Valoya® L18 AP67 Milky. El mayor desarrollo de biomasa se registró en el tratamiento con mayor intensidad de luz, sin embargo, la mejor eficiencia energética fue conseguida con el tratamiento de menor intensidad lumínica. Sugerimos que se lleven a cabo estudios en los que se haga un seguimiento de la planta hasta estados de desarrollo más avanzados para poder ver el efecto de espectro e intensidad en todo el ciclo vegetativo de la planta.
