Adaptabilidad a energías renovables en Colombia

Abstract

isitamos las instalaciones de Ecopetrol, mirando los esfuerzos que han hecho aún pequeños y marginales en relación a energías limpias, que es por donde yo creo que Ecopetrol podría tener futuro en las próximas décadas en Colombia”, comunicó el presidente de la República de Colombia, Gustavo Petro, durante una visita a una granja solar de la compañía petrolera Ecopetrol (Forbes Staff, 2020). Sin embargo, esta idea no permanece ahí, ya que Petro ha anunciado su propuesta de la “transición energética”, proyecto que ya se ha realizado en países cercanos como Uruguay, Costa Rica, Brasil y Chile. Por el contrario, el proyecto propuesto es poco factible en el país, pues significa un cambio tanto en el recurso energético por defecto producido desde hace varias décadas, como un nuevo enfoque de las empresas energéticas que ayudan en gran parte a la economía del país. Por ello, la transición energética será compleja en Colombia debido a que es un país con poca adaptabilidad a nuevos cambios.
