La infraestructura de transporte en Colombia: una tarea pendiente que se resiente por la emergencia sanitaria de la COVID-19

Abstract

El COVID-19 nos cambió la vida a todos. Las consecuencias de este hecho nos obligan a ser más creativos y a redoblar los esfuerzos para tratar de recuperar el tiempo perdido. En el mundo, la gran mayoría de los países se vio altamente afectada sanitaria, social y económicamente. La emergencia sanitaria produjo un debilitamiento del comercio mundial que terminó de complicar un panorama económico y social, que aún se recuperaba de la crisis financiera de los años 2008 y 2009. En efecto, Peña Santana, (2020) manifiesta que “según el Banco Mundial con esta pandemia se espera que haya una reducción de más del 5 % en la economía mundial”( p10), pues el temor por la propagación del virus obligó a la mayoría de los países a implementar medidas de restricción en la movilización durante varios meses.
