Rendimiento escolar y ritmo circadiano

Abstract

En febrero del año 2015 se anunció el programa de jornada única para los estudiantes del sector oficial en Colombia: 7 horas para preescolar, 8 horas para primaria y 9 horas para secundaria y media. Es una política basada en cinco principios: equidad, calidad, eficiencia, corresponsabilidad y rendición de cuentas y gradualidad. Dentro del principio de calidad que plantea el programa se argumenta que el aumento de las horas de estudio en el sector público permitirá mejorar el desempeño académico y fortalecer las competencias en matemáticas, ciencias y español (Colombiaaprende, 2015).
