Fusiones, adquisiciones y su efecto sobre la rentabilidad bancaria: caso Bancolombia

Abstract

Este estudio analiza el efecto de las fusiones y adquisiciones del Grupo Bancolombia sobre la variación del precio de la acción y el ROE en el período 1995-2017, entre el momento del anuncio de cada evento y la transacción efectiva. A través de la metodología ARIMA de intervención se encontraron efectos negativos de las fusiones y adquisiciones sobre la variación del precio de la acción y de la rentabilidad patrimonial.
