Abstract

A partir de una situación de enfermería con el paciente quemado en el área asistencial hospitalaria, desarrollar un análisis teórico-conceptual, donde se hace visible el valor del cuidado respaldado en principios filosóficos, éticos, epistemológicos y teóricos, como contribución al desarrollo científico de la profesión de enfermería.Este trabajo fue realizado en el Hospital Simón Bolívar, Unidad de Quemados, Bogotá agosto 5 de 2005.

From a nursing situation with burnt patients in the assistance hospital area, a theoretic-conceptual analysis is developed, where it is evident the care value supported by principles from philosophy, ethics, epistemology and theory as a contribution for scientific development of nursing profession. The work was pursued in the Burns Unit of Simón Bolívar Hospital, city of Bogotá (Colombia) on August 5 2005.
