(ES) El vino ocupa un lugar de primer orden en la vida de los antiguos griegos, como ponen de relieve los numerosos testimonios conservados en la literatura y en las artes. Uno de los aspectos que muestran la importancia que le daban es que crearon incluso un rico vocabulario enológico. Con él describían las características de los diversos vinos –en ocasiones también a través de metáforas– en cuanto a su color, su aroma, su sabor o su textura.
(EN) The wine occupies a very important place in the life of the ancient Greeks, as highlighted by the numerous testimonies preserved in literature and the arts. One of the aspects that show this importance is that they even created a rich oenological vocabulary. With it they described the characteristics of the various wines - sometimes also through metaphors - in terms of colour, aroma, taste or texture.
