Abstract

Este TFG se centra en desarrollar un gemelo digital que simula el funcionamiento de una máquina empaquetadora de galletas. El mismo se ha creado utilizando Siemens NX-MCD para el modelado físico, TIA Portal para el diseño del programa de control del PLC y PLCSIM Advanced para la puesta en marcha virtual. A nivel personal y profesional, el reto a superar ha sido el uso integrado de conocimientos, tecnologías y componentes tan diferentes, de una manera coordinada en un proyecto cuyo objetivo final, es la utilidad industrial del mismo. Se ha creado un gemelo digital preciso, y diseñado un programa de control para el PLC que controla el gemelo digital mediante un PLC virtual, reduciendo así la necesidad de hardware físico. La puesta en marcha virtual con Software in the Loop (SiL) destaca como un aspecto clave, permitiendo realizar simulaciones solo con un ordenador. Se han alcanzado todos los objetivos planteados inicialmente. El proyecto demuestra la gran utilidad de los gemelos digitales para reducir riesgos y costos asociados a la creación de prototipos y pruebas. Este gemelo digital tiene potencial para ser usado en la industria, tanto para la formación de operarios como para el diseño de nuevas máquinas de empaquetado.

This Final Degree Project focuses on developing a digital twin that simulates the operation of a cookie packaging machine. It was created using Siemens NX-MCD for physical modeling, TIA Portal for designing the PLC control program, and PLCSIM Advanced for virtual commissioning. On a personal and professional level, the challenge was to integrate diverse knowledge, technologies, and components in a coordinated manner within a project aimed at achieving industrial applications. A precise digital twin has been created, and a control program for the PLC has been designed to control the digital twin through a virtual PLC, thus reducing the need for physical hardware. Virtual commissioning with Software in the Loop (SiL) stands out as a key aspect, allowing simulations to be performed using only a computer. All the set objectives have been achieved. The project demonstrates the great utility of digital twins in reducing the risks and costs associated with prototype creation and testing. This digital twin has the potential to be used in the industry, both for worker training and the design of new packaging machines.

GRAL honen helburua gailetak paketatzeko makina baten funtzionamendua simulatzen duen biki digital bat garatzea da. Hau lortzeko Siemens NX-MCD modelaketa fisikorako, TIA Portal PLCaren kontrol programa diseinatzeko eta PLCSIM Advanced bikia martxan jartzeko erabili dira. Hain desberdinak diren ezagutzak, teknologiak eta osagaiak modu koordinatuan erabiltzea, maila pertsonalean eta profesionalean, gainditu beharreko erronka bat izan da. Honen azken helburua proiektuaren erabilgarritasun industriala izanik. Biki digital zehatz bat sortu da eta PLC birtual baten bidez biki digitala kontrolatzen duen kontrol programa diseinatu da, hardware fisikoaren beharra murriztuz. Gainera, Software in the Loop (SiL) erabiliz simulazioak bakarrik ordenagailu batekin egin daitezke. Hasieran proposatutako helburu guztiak lortu dira. Prototipoak eta probak sortzearekin lotutako arriskuak eta kostuak murrizten direlako, proiektuak biki digitalen erabilgarritasun handia erakusten du. Biki digital honek industrian erabiltzeko gaitasuna du, bai langileak prestatzeko, bai paketatzeko makina berriak diseinatzeko.
