Este texto analiza la agenda hegemónica de construcción de la paz impulsada desde la década de los noventa por los países dominantes y las Instituciones Financieras Internacionales en los contextos posconflicto. Este modelo es denominado de manera crítica como “paz liberal” porque pretende introducir en esos contextos las principales ideas liberales en lo político y neoliberales en lo económico presentes también en el Norte global. Asimismo examina, por un lado, la creciente importante de la seguridad y la estabilidad y, por otro, el papel residual de la rehabilitación social y la justicia transicional en esta agenda.
