Abstract

Zauri kronikoen tratamendua erronka handia da egun. Zauriak sendatzeko hainbat elkarrekintza ematen dira zelulen, biomolekulen eta matrize estrazelularraren artean, eta prozesuak lau fase ditu, baina zauri kronikoak hanturazko fasean geratzen dira, amaiezina den hantura ziklo bat ematen delarik. Hantura ziklo horretan hantura zitokina eta oxigeno espezie erreaktiboen (ROS-en) kantitatea oso handia da. Beraz, zauri kronikoen tratamenduaren helburu nagusia joera horrekin amaitzea izan behar da. Orain arte zauri kronikoak sendatzeko erabilitako hidrogelek hanturaren aurkako konposatu bioaktiboak eduki zitzaketen, eta horien askapenaren bidez hantura murrizten zuten. Ordea, zauri kronikoak sendatzeko beste terapia bat garatzen ari da, ekintza inflamatorioa immunomodulatzen duena. Hanturazko bitartekariak eta ROS-ak bahitzen dituzten hidrogelak diseinatu dira, zelula immune gutxiago erakarriz, zaurien orbaintzea sustatzen dutenak. Matrize estrazelularrean ageri diren osagaiez osatuta daude, azalarekiko ahalik eta antza handiena edukitzeko, eta zauriaren morfologiara oso ondo egokitzen dira. Hidrogelen osagaien eta hantura bitartekarien artean elkarrekintzak emateagatik lortzen da bitartekariak bahitzea. Animalietan egindako ikerketan ikusi zen, zauriak bi hiru asteetan sendatu daitezkeela terapia berri honekin, gizakietan aldiz, 8 aste edo gehiago beharko lirateke. Hala ere, sekulako aurrerapena da zauri kronikoen tratamendurako. Gainera, estrategia bahitzailea jarraitzeaz gain, beste ezaugarri batzuk ere izan ditzakete hidrogelek, antibakterianoak eta antioxidatzaileak izan daitezke esaterako, eraginkortasun handiagoa edukitzeko. Beraz, terapia tradizionalen mugak gainditzea ahalbidetzen dute eta zauri kronikoen erabateko sendaketarako aukerak eskaini. Lana euskaraz egin da.
