"Es lo que fue, es lo que es, es lo que será"

"Es lo que fue, es lo que es, es lo que será"

Abstract

The current rhythm of consumption is based on excessive consumerism that, far from offering a conscious life and a dignified future, precipitates the world as we know it today to a relatively immediate collapse. Within this bleak context, this article presents an artistic project that seeks an alternative to processes that allow us to imagine more positive futures based on an approach and respect for nature and the resources it offers. The project "It’s what it was, it’s what it is, it’s what it’ll be"is based on ephemerality and the reuse of its own materials or salvaged materials, with the intention of beginning a search for alternative ways of producing artistically within this context. At the same time, it aims to generate a space of doubt and questioning of capitalist and consumerist patterns of which one is unaware, with the in-tention of framing the categories of sustainability and ecological practice within art.; El ritmo de consumo actual está basado en el consumismo desmedido que lejos de ofrecer una vida consciente y un futuro digno, precipita al mundo que conocemos hoy a un colapso relativamente inmediato.
