Marketing electoral: la punta del iceberg del marketing político. Un estudio exploratorio.

Abstract

En los últimos años, la irrupción de nuevas formaciones en el escenario político ha marcado el fin de la era del bipartidismo. En el panorama actual, la multiplicidad de partidos y la falta de acuerdos entre las principales fuerzas políticas del país justifican el contexto de fragmentación política y la consiguiente intensificación de la competencia entre ellas. Bajo esta premisa, la disciplina del marketing electoral adquiere una relevancia crucial. Asimismo, el adelanto de las elecciones generales al próximo 23 de julio ha planteado un desafío adicional para los partidos políticos, que deberán diseñar estrategias de marketing en un período reducido de tiempo, poniendo el énfasis sobre las necesidades, intereses y preferencias del electorado y tomando en consideración las circunstancias específicas que rodean la fecha de los comicios propuesta. Palabras clave: Marketing político, marketing electoral, elecciones, partidos políticos, candidato/a, votantes, comunicación política, redes sociales.
