Estudio retrospectivo de cultivos microbiológicos en pacientes con queratitis infecciosa no vírica en el Hospital Universitario de Donostia

Abstract

[ES] Se ha realizado un estudio retrospectivo observacional de pacientes con cultivos corneales positivos en el Hospital Universitario de Donostia (HUD) durante 2017. Los objetivos de esta revisión han sido analizar los gérmenes más frecuentes implicados en las infecciones corneales no víricas en el HUD, así como sensibilidad de los microorganismos, evolución de la infección y posibles factores de riesgo de infección asociados. Se estudiaron los resultados microbiológicos de los cultivos positivos corneales, de lentes de contacto y líquido de conservación de lentes de contacto. Se analizaron clínica, factores de riesgo de infección asociados, tratamientos tópicos, necesidad de tratamientos quirúrgicos y evolución de la enfermedad según la historia clínica de los pacientes. Además, se llevó a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica para conocer la etiología, clínica y factores de riesgo de infección de las queratitis infecciosas no víricas más frecuentes según la literatura científica.
