Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto de estudio el riesgo moral en la gestión de las organizaciones. Durante mucho tiempo, la guía de actuación de la mayoría de organizaciones ha sido la búsqueda del beneficio propio sin pensar en la incidencia que sus actuaciones pueden causar en un tercero, hablamos del riesgo moral. En la investigación desarrollada se identifican múltiples situaciones de riesgo moral en las organizaciones en relación con los stakeholders sobre los que potencialmente impactan, visibilizando un problema poco estudiado, pero con gran incidencia. Así, el objetivo principal de la presente Tesis Doctoral es el desarrollo de un modelo que hemos denominado Modelo de Compliance Moral (MCM) que va a permitir la identificación y gestión del riesgo moral en las organizaciones; así como la verificación del cumplimiento de la normativa implantada para la prevención y control del mismo, así como su aplicabilidad en una organización. La aplicabilidad del modelo se ha contrastado tras su implantación en una organización del País Vasco, Mutualia. El trabajo contribuye a la reflexión ética, al proporcionar un instrumento facilitador para gestionar bajo prismas éticos/sostenibles a los diferentes grupos de interés tratando de no inducirles riesgos a la hora de la toma de decisiones.
