Abstract

En la actualidad el cambio climático se ha convertido en un tema delicado, tanto las instituciones gubernamentales como la sociedad son conscientes de las consecuencias que tiene nuestra actividad en el medio ambiente. Pero, ¿sabemos a ciencia cierta lo que supone a nuestro planeta una acción tan simple como ir a la universidad, el impacto que tiene sobre el planeta? En todos los medios de comunicación escuchamos que los gobiernos están tomando medidas para mitigar el cambio climático, pero, ¿sabemos qué medidas son estas? Las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y otras sustancias traen consigo el calentamiento global, el cambio climático, la subida del nivel del mar o el agujero en la capa de ozono de la atmosfera. Pero aún quedan muchos interrogantes por resolver: qué efectos tienen estos cambios y hasta qué punto pueden afectar en nuestro día a día o alas generaciones futuras. Además de abordar estas cuestiones, en este Trabajo Fin de Grado se va a calcular la Huella de Carbono en la Escuela de Magisterio de la Universidad del País Vasco en el campus de Gipuzkoa, metodología que permite calcular las toneladas de CO2 emitidas a la atmosfera debido a una actividad.
