Abstract

[ES] Los modelos animales de esclerosis múltiple (EM) son de gran utilidad para conocer la patogenia y fisiopatología de la EM. Sin embargo ninguno de ellos recapitula todos sus aspectos. Aún así son necesarios para el desarrollo de estrategias terapéuticas que limiten la progresión de la enfermedad o incluso puedan llegar a revertirla. La revisión se fundamentará en el análisis de bibliografía relevante recogida en la base de datos PubMed.
