Abstract

(ESPAÑOL) El objetivo principal de este trabajo es producir morteros estructurales de escoria de buena resistencia mecánica y trabajabilidad, a la vez que se reduce el consumo de cemento Potland, cuya producción es una fuente creciente de preocupación ambiental. En este contexto, el estudio analiza la preparación de estos morteros con escoria siderúrgica en sustitución parcial de agregados convencionales como el cemento Portland que incluye una proporción notable de cenizas volantes. Se realizan análisis estructurales y mecánicos en las mezclas también, las contracciones de las mezclas se miden y se evalúan. El comportamiento a largo plazo de estas mezclas de escoria parece aceptable, abriendo así una línea de trabajo prometedora que finalmente establecerá las condiciones adecuadas para su uso.

(INGLÉS) The main objective of this work is to produce structural slag mortars of good mechanical strength and workability, while reducin the consumption of Pottland clinker, the production of which is a growing source of environmental concern. In this context, the study looks at the preparation of these mortairs with steelmaking slag in partial substitution of conventional aggregates, like the use of Portland cement that includes a notable proportion of fly-ash. Structural and mechanical analyses are performed on the mixes, also, shrinkage contraction of the mixtures are measured and ebaluated. The long-term behavior of these slag mixes appeared acceptable, thereby opening a promising line of work that will eventually establish suitable conditions for their use.

(EUSKERA) Lan honen helburu nagusia, siderurgiako eskoriak erabiliz erresistentzia oneko mortero estrukturalak produzitzea da. Horrekin batera Portland zementuaren erabilpena murriztea du helburu; honen erabilpenak ingurugiroan eragin kaltegarriak bait ditu. Kontextu honetan, gure ikasketak mortero hauen analisia egingo du, hau da, Portland zementuaren ordez siderurgiako eskoriak erabiltzen dituen morteroena. Nahasteetan analisi mekaniko eta estructurala egingo da eta baita uzkurketen neurketa eta ebaluaketa ere. Nahaste hauen epe luzeko portaera egokia dela ikusi dugu, hórrela, honen inguruko lan línea bat zabalduz. Lan línea honek ezarriko ditu mortero hauen erabileren baldintzak.
