Abstract

[FR] La promotion des espaces sans fumée est une initiative fondamentale pour éliminer l’exposition à la fumée du tabac dans l’air ambiant, spécialement entre les groupes vulnérables ou les captifs, comme les enfants ou les travailleurs dans des espaces fermés. Pour évaluer l’efficacité des réglementations il faut disposer des marqueurs de l’exposition suffisamment sensibles et spécifiques, puisque la présence du fumée du tabac dans l’air ambiant, à des faibles concentrations, passe généralement inaperçue et, par conséquent, le risque de l’exposition est ignoré ou sous-estimé.

[ES] La promoción de los espacios sin humo es una iniciativa fundamental para eliminar la exposición al humo ambiental de tabaco (HAT), especialmente entre los colectivos vulnerables o cautivos, como los niños o los trabajadores en espacios cerrados. Para evaluar la efectividad de las normativas es preciso disponer de marcadores de la exposición suficientemente sensibles y específicos, ya que la presencia de HAT a concentraciones bajas suele pasar desapercibida y por tanto el riesgo de la exposición es ignorado o infraestimado.

[EU] Tabakoaren ingurumen kea saihesteko, kerik gabeko eremuak sustatzea oinarrizko ekimena da, bereziki kolektibo kalteberentzat edo gatibuentzat, hala nola, haurrak edo eremu itxietan lan egiten duten langileak. Araudien eraginkortasuna ebaluatzeko, nahitaezkoa da esposizio adierazgailuak behar adina espezifiko eta sentiberak izatea, zeren eta tabakoaren ingurumen kearen (HAT) agerpena kontzentrazio txikietan oharkabean iragaiten da eta honek esposizio arriskua baztertu edo azpiestimatu dezake.

[EN] Smoke-free areas promotion is a fundamental initiative to eliminate the exposition to environment tobacco smoke, especially in the case of vulnerable or captive groups, like children or workers in closed spaces. To evaluate the effectiveness of rules sensitive and specific markers of exposition are required, even though the presence of environmental tobacco smoke at low concentrations usually happens unnoticed and, then, the risk of exposure is ignored or under-estimated.
