Abstract

El objetivo de esta Tesis Doctoral ha sido el estudio de la degradación in vitro de soportes porosos, para ingeniería de tejidos, fabricados con diferentes polímeros y disolventes y con partículas bioactivas de nanohidroxiapatita. Los polímeros utilizados han sido la policaprolactona y la polilactida y los disolventes el 1,4 dioxano, el cloroformo y una mezcla de 1,4 dioxano y agua. La técnica de fabricación empleada ha sido la separación de fases inducida térmicamente (liofilización). Tras realizar la degradación in vitro de los scaffolds hemos caracterizado los distintos sistemas encontrando que los soportes porosos fabricados sin nHA, mantienen mejor sus propiedades mecánicas con el tiempo de degradación. También podemos advertir que la adición de nanopartículas aumenta la velocidad de degradación, lo cual sugiere la posibilidad de regular ésta mediante el uso de diversas concentraciones de las mismas.
