ONE OF THE GREATEST CHALLENGES TODAY FOR THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS IS THE RISING OF PLURALISM, CAUSED BY THE FRAGMENTATION OF THE CULTURAL FRAME (CLOSE-PACKED AND UNITARY) ON WHICH HAS ROOTED SOCIALIZATION UP TO THE LATE MODERNITY. AS SOCIALIZATION BECOMES MORE POLY-CENTRIC, SERIOUS TROUBLES ARISE IN THE MANAGEMENT OF DIVERSITY AT ALL LEVELS: FROM THE SIDE TO THE SOCIAL AGENT (STUDENT, TEACHER, PARENT, SCHOOL MANAGER) AS WELL AS TO THAT OF POLICY MAKERS AND SYSTEMS (PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SERVICES, LOCAL NETWORKS, GOVERNMENT).
